JAS SEHMBI
Our Head of Design & Creative Director is none other than Jas Sehmbi. Much like the story of what makes our bags unique, Jas has lived many lives. Born in Nairobi, his family uprooted to India then relocated again when he was aged 11, to London.
Having shown a natural flair for Art at school, Jas honed his skills at college in London, gaining the confidence to design, make and then sell his debut range of bags when still just 20 years old. It’s a passion that has never waned, leading him to live in Italy and Japan, adding depth to both his design and cultural knowledge.
Over the years, Jas’ ranges have consistently attracted admirers and buyers worldwide, retailing in over 500 stores across 35 countries. He has also had his own showcase stores in Japan, Shanghai and London.
Possessing such a creative mind, his advice is naturally much sought after in the Design world. Jas has guest lectured in Tokyo, The London College of Fashion and the Marangoni Fashion Institute in London.
